The Vietnam airline livery does work; it shows a black aircraft.

Great package! Now I have access to repaints for several Airlines that give me more options for the B747-400. It works like a charm.

Simply go into the b747_400 (Flight Simulator XSimObjectsAirplanesb747_400) folder. There you will see six texture.x folders (i.e.: texture.1, texture.2,, etc.). The downloaded package has a file called Add to Aircraft.cfg.txt. In this you will see the various new aircraft information, that must be copied to the original b747_400 Aircraft.cfg file.

Example: Say you want to use the UPS paint texture. In the downloaded file package, you will see several texture folders. Find the Texture.UPS folder and copy and paste this to the original b747_400 folder.

Then copy and paste the correct [fltsim.x] for the UPS, into the original b747_400 folder, after the last [fltsim.6] in the Aircraft.cfg file (located in b747_400 folder). Be sure to rename the [fltsim.x] to [fltsim.7], or to whatever the next sequence number is.

Do this method for each texture you wish to add to the b747_400.

It's easier than it seems, just remember, to follow the sequences. Good luck and happy flying!

So I don't quite know what you mean by making the [fltsim.x]/[fltsim.xx] as the next number. If there is one x, then I assume you put a single digit number, but in a numerical order, I can only put 3 single digit numbers since there is already 6 other files with single digits. So do I recycle the numbers and go back to zero after I reach 9 or what? Or do the x's mean that you can put any number in?

As an totally ignorant pilot who doesn't know his arm from his elbow I wonder if there is anything or anybody who can help me to get to now how to learn to use flight simulator's instructions how to start an engine and prepare for flights and landing etc etc etc Your most welcome suggestion please to my e-mail address. kind regard Jan
