This repaint package brings the distinctive EasyJet Airlines color scheme to the default Boeing 737-800 in Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Developed by Mustafa Sazak, it features meticulously crafted textures that replicate EasyJet’s recognizable livery while highlighting the iconic lines of the 737 Next Generation family.

Key Aspects of the Repainted Exterior

By focusing on the EasyJet design elements, this repaint captures the airline’s signature orange fuselage markings and tail logo. Enthusiasts will recognize how these vivid accents mirror EasyJet’s real-world fleet and maintain the performance-oriented profile of Boeing’s narrow-body twin-engine aircraft. The 737-800, a stretched variant in the 737 family, supports short- to medium-range routes, making it an important workhorse for regional and budget carriers worldwide.

Aircraft-Specific Highlights

Serving as a popular model within the Boeing lineup, the 737-800 offers advanced avionics, efficient winglets (where fitted), and a redesigned cabin layout for optimal passenger comfort. EasyJet, founded as a low-cost carrier, has leveraged aircraft of similar size and capacity to expand its network throughout Europe. This repaint merges the realism of the base model with authentic airline branding, showcasing a crisp and detailed exterior finish.

description="One should hardly be surprised that the world's most prolific
manufacturer of commercial aircraft is also the producer of the world's
most popular jetliner. The 737 became the best-selling commercial jetliner
worldwide when orders for it hit 1,831 in June 1987 (surpassing Boeing's
own 727 as the previous champ). However, it wasn't always that way;
in the first few years of production, there were so few orders that
Boeing considered canceling the program. They didn't, and the airplane
has more than proven itself in over three decades of service.

Additional Notes

This add-on functions exclusively as a repaint. You will need the freeware base model of the default Boeing 737-800, which is typically included with Microsoft Flight Simulator X. If you are missing the base files, check the Fly Away Simulation file library for the appropriate freeware package. This extension retains all the core features of the default 737-800, including its cockpit systems, autopilot interface, and flight dynamics.
