Piper PA28-180 Cherokee in flight."FS9 Default PA28_180 Converted TO FSX"

"Will no longer work in FS9 in it's converted state"

I have given the Converted PA28_180 alot of new updates. If you have the Shockwave 3D Lights installed then
you will have them here also. Along with better flight dynamics and Nav lights and beacons have also been up-
dated.
I have also added 4 new repaints and 4 splash screens, I have taken all the trouble for you by adding the free repaints
from FlightSim.com that are always readily available. All the code has been written the panels and sounds are already in-
stalled all you have to do is download Install into your flightsim and have fun. What more can you ask for. So
don't just sit there download and have some fun.

"Personal Comments"

You might be asking yourself why I am doing this. Well I am retired for one and it give's me something to do
and I enjoy doing it. The other reason is I have over 10,000 aircraft and Helicopters that work in FS9 but not
FSX so it might take me awhile but I am going to convert every single one of them to FSX. So they just dont
die with FS9 and we can keep enjoying these beautiful art's of really hard work the designers put into them.

"Credits"

All repaints are the property of the original designers and I always give them credit for magnificent art work
and talent for without whom I would never beable to put these packages together. And to the guy's that do such
a fantastic job on the effects they create for these aircraft. I would like to say thank you and also for keep
-ing it free.

"INSTALLATION"

Unzip to a tempory folder and place the whole Microsoft PA28_180 folder into your Program Files/ Microsoft Games/
Flight SimulatorX/Simobjects/Airplanes folder and the Gauges go into the gauges folder.

Thats it go fly have fun. Scoot now!!

Editorial

One thing that I love dealing with when flying an FSX add-on is a remake of an aircraft I have actually used. In the past I was lucky enough to get to fly around in a real-life PA28-180 Cherokee aircraft and I have to say that I was mightily impressed.

Preview screenshot

So much so that when I was informed that this mod was waiting for me, I jumped at the chance of using it. Not only did this mod feel very unique and also very close to the real thing, but it carried the same depth and precision that’s needed.

So, what was my major take away when using this?

Excellently Detailed

Obviously, the first thing I was on the lookout for was the depth of detail that you can find across the board. With this aircraft you will find that it really has all of those little extra features and add-ons that we all love to see included. From the paint job to the detail of the interior cockpit, this can really feel like a whole lot of fun to get involved with.

Another major factor has been the fact that it comes with a full compatibility for the 3D lighting created by Shockwave. This is a massive add-on for me and I use it all the time so it was great to see that this mod came with 100% compatibility.

The attention to detail throughout, though, is one of the most impressive aspects for sure.

Perfectly Put Together

Another factor that really impressed me was the precision in the creation. From the flight dynamics to the animations on display as you fly the aircraft, this feels real – it feels alive. By perfectly capturing the depth and precision within the cockpit and within the exterior you get an aircraft that looks wonderful and performs jut as impressive.

One thing that really stood out to me, though, was the depth of care put into nearly every last element of the aircraft. It comes with lots of nice little features and additions, and the process of cohesion when designing it has been implemented in the installation process, too.

Plenty of Detail

Something that jumped out at me during my times in the sky with this aircraft is that I have noticed just how precise the detail is. Textures are sharp and stand out as necessary whilst the aircraft also carries an immense level of detail in the way it flies. Flight dynamics are spot on, the attention to detail on every last drop of the performance has been well-received and, in general, this aircraft flies true to its real-life counterparts.

Given it was made for FS9 there are some minor quibbles with compatibility but nothing too major. For a freebie, this product is well worth having for use in FSX.

Like an earlier comment, I have installed this but there is no virtual cockpit. Is there something I have done wrong? Please advise.
