German C-160 Transall. A repaint in realistic German camouflage colors for the military cargo aircraft C-160 Transall from Italo D'Attomo and Giovanni Quai (requires TRANSALL_C160.ZIP). The repaint shows a Transall of the LTG 51, which is stationed at Landsberg in southern Germany. Their task is transportation and training for parachute troops. Included in the package are panel and camera options, which allow you to get the view of the cargomaster, seeing a closed or an open cargo room. Using the smoke system you can watch the parachuters from inside the cargo room or with external views. For the parachuters you need only to download PARA.ZIP from Gianni Vakirtzi. Repaint, modifications for panel and cameras from Erwin Welker.
German C-160 Transall.
Installation:
Textures:
I did not include al whole set of textures, but only 2 repainted ones. So copy the 2 replacement textures and the thumbnail from the folder "replacement textures" into your german version of your Transall. If you prefer the originals, then don't hesitate to back up it before.
Panel:
Back up the original panel.cfg. Then copy all the files from my folder "panel options" into the panel. I did some little changes, removed some from the original windows and added some others. So please test my panel and choose what kind you like.
Cameras:
I have modified the original cameras to insert the cargoroom views. Just copy all the lines from the text.cfg-file "modified cameras_smokesystem" somewhere close to the top into your aircraft.cfg. The original cameras will remain somewhere below and they will be disabled, so long you have my cameras ahead. The configuration for the smokesystem with the parachuter effects are allready in my config included. Even the effects was for FS2002, they works also in FSX.
Parachuters:
For the parachuters you need only to download para.zip from Gianni Vakirtzi. Then copy that effects into the effect folder of your FSX.
Happy landings.
Erwin Welker.
