It was made to domestic production based on the licensing agreement with the United States Boeing company (old McDonnell Douglas Corp.). The bombing device and the device equipped with air-to-surface arms of F-4E were detached, and it is an airframe redecorated for the air defense duty. In 1990, It was redecorated to F-4EJ by aiming at the change of radar and the update of avionics, and extending the airframe longevity. Updated for Simviation.com. By Kazunori Ito.
