Mitsubishi F-4EJ Kai Phantom II brings Japan Air Self-Defense Force airspace defense to FS2004 with a domestically produced, license-built variant optimized for interceptor missions. The package reflects the 1990 Kai upgrade with refreshed radar and avionics, extended service life focus, and a detailed exterior plus authentic virtual cockpit for immersive operations.

Description Comments
was selected as a succession main force fighter for the airspace defense supplementation along with F-104 fighter retirement. It was made to domestic production based on the licensing agreement with the United States Boeing company (old McDonnell Douglas Corp.). The bombing device and the device equipped with air-to-surface arms of F-4E were detached, and it is an airframe redecorated for the air defense duty. In 1990, It was redecorated to F-4EJ by aiming at the change of radar and the update of avionics, and extending the airframe longevity. Updated for Simviation.com. By Kazunori Ito.
