Roanoke Star Scenery.
This is a GMAX model of the 100-foot illuminated star which was constructed atop Mill Mountain overlooking Roanoke Virginia and the KROA airport in 1949. The three concentric stars illuminate Red, White and Blue. The Roanoke Star is reportedly the largest man-made erect star.
To install, place the Roanoke folder in your FSX Addon Scenery folder and follow the normal procedure for adding a scenery area. The star is located at lat="37 15.0685" lon="-79 55.9602" atop Mill Mountain.
