Introduction: First, I would like to thank you for downloading this freeware project. It is a fictional airlines based on “Real World” places. Where possible, I’ve tried to stay as true to the photographs I had available.

KNOWN PROBLEMS:

There are several Seaplane bases that you will get a “CRASH” when trying to taxi up the ramp. This is due to Microsoft’s scenery mesh and I can not fix it. Tried! But, you can turn off your “Crash Detection”!

2. Land’s End SeaPlanes East Coast Tours & Cargo
3. Land’s End SeaPlanes Northern Passage
4. Land’s End SeaPlanes West Coast Travel
5. Land’s End SeaPlanes Southern Crossing
6. Amphibian Aircraft

SPECIAL NOTE:

Special Note on Manual Installation: My previous releases have resulted in a number of e-mail concerning problems after manual installation. All but one of these problems were the result of copying the files to the wrong location! If you are going to manually install the files…..One other problem reported during manual install is not overwriting files when asked….YES, you have to overwrite. Each scenery package builds on the previous scenery package…if you only have Part IV, then you’ll be missing models and textures from Parts I, II, and III.

1. Unzip the downloaded zip file LESPWC.zip
2. You will find:
A. Self Installer.
B. HTML Read-Me Folder.
3. Run the “Self Installer and when it says “Browse to your main FSX Installation” Don’t. Browse to a temporary folder.
4. Once installed you find the folder, “Addon Scenery”
5. Copy the Addon Scenery Folder to you Main FSX installation. When the system ask to overwrite, click “YES”!

Installation:

STEP 1 - From the main FSX screen Click on Settings as pictured below

STEP 2 - Click on Scenery Library.

STEP 3 - Add the folder LESP Southern Crossing.

Settings: The scenery was designed with default settings for scenery, with the exception of Scenery Complexity…which I have set as high as possible….

The setting which has the largest effect upon display is Mesh Complexity…to high the mountains may cover part of the seaplane dock…to low….and they may not connect with the land…

KOTH - North Bend Municipal Airport, North Bend, Oregon…. two terminals one old and one new. In addition there are US Coast Guard facilities located here.
KBOK - Brookings State Airport, Brookings Oregon….nice little airport with seaplane dock.
KACV - Arcata-Eureka Airport, Arcata, California….nice little airport with seaplane dock.
OQ5 - Shelter Cover, Shelter Cove, California….nice little airport with seaplane dock.

Part IV, Southern Crossing

Unfortunately the lack of water in the great American west prevented every location from having a seaport. That being said, I'm using AP to designate locations with an "Airport Only", SP "Seaport Only" and AP/SP for both.

The scenery addon cover's the southern portion of the United States and includes:
