Ponta Grossa is 360.000 inhabitants town located at Brazilian southern state of Paraná, - it´s about 100km far away from Curitiba (capital)(90mi).

This scenerary brings all the town and rural zone, incluind half of Alagados Dam (North), and Santana Airport (South).

For better effect in scenery download the FSX Mesch South America in http://www.ceaero.com.br/meshxsa/dowsa.html (specially E8 and F8 that covers Paraná State).

Installation Instructions:

Copy the folder: Ponta Grossa
> Scenery

Into to the folder Addon Scenery of FSX, enabling the scenery in FSX. To conclude installation, open FSX and select "SETTINGS" and then "Scenery Library...". Now, push the button "Add Area..." and, in the new window, browse to the installation folder. In the example, this is "C:\FSXAddOns\Ponta Grossa"

Alternativatly you can copy all the files inside scenery folder of Ponta Grossa and paste to folder scenery of Addon Scenery of FSX.By this way you don´t need to activate it.

The files in the folder:

a) pontagrossaXX.blg (1 to 5): town general files.

b) pgaero.bgl: airport detalied scenery.

c) PGcentro.bgl: downtown.

d) sszw_ade_gcs.bgl: airport file.

e) other files with _ob1.bgl or obx.bgl: they are autogen objects.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
