Editorial

A nice and engaging piece of kit, the DeHaviland Beaver DH2 wheels add-on is a must-have. This is made to be used with the original float version, which naturally never had any wheels for you to work with. Thanks to this new version, I was able to finally get a better level of typical usage out of flying the Beaver DHC2. Many people found that the float version was great fun but just hard to fly in a conventional sense.

This helps to repair that problem, instead offering access to a simple and easy edition of the aircraft with new wheels added. This uses all of the same features of the float one, gives you access to the same performance, features and everything else.

The Simplest of Changes

Most people, myself included, were big fans of the fact this wheeled edition was made. While floating is a cool touch, we wanted to make sure that we can begin to fly aircraft in the right manner. With the help of these new wheels, you can make sure that you are going to enjoy a much more engaging flight experience. Now, you can land in a more typical sense!

Also, I like the fact that this isn’t just the wheels. This is the full package so if you don’t already own the float version, or never got a chance to use it, this is a fine replacement. You can still get the old float version but for the majority of pilots this offers just what you are going to be need in terms of managing a flight in a safe and easy manner.

Whether you are like me and wanted to finally land properly, or this is your first foray into the Beaver, this is worth installing!
