This is Chris Buff's FS2002 Electra L188 converted to FSX. The aircraft.cfg has been totally redone as has the .air file. Smoke has been redone to match each engine. For those of you who have shockwave's 3D landing lights you will also have them here. The nav lights have been redone to be more realistic. There are 28 liveries in this package. I have given the Converted Electra L188 alot of new updates. If you have the Shockwave 3D Lights installed then you will have them here also. Along with better flight dynamics and Nav lights and beacons have also been up- dated. I have also added 28 repaints, I have taken all the trouble for you by adding the free repaints from Flight Sim that are always readily available. All the code has been written the panels and sounds are already installed all you have to do is download Install into your flightsim and have fun. What more can you ask for. So don't just sit there download and have some fun.

"Personal Comments"

You might be asking yourself why I am doing this. Well I am retired for one and it give's me something to do and I enjoy doing it. The other reason is I have over 10,000 aircraft and Helicopters that work in FS9 but not FSX so it might take me awhile but I am going to convert every single one of them to FSX. So they just don't die with FS9 and we can keep enjoying these beautiful art's of really hard work the designers put into them.

All repaints are the property of the original designers and I always give them credit for magnificent art work and talent for without whom I would never be able to put these packages together. And to the guy's that do such a fantastic job on the effects they create for these aircraft. I would like to say thank you and also for keeping it free.

"INSTALLATION"

Unzip to a tempory folder and place the whole L188-Electra Pkg folder into your Program Files/ Microsoft Games/Flight SimulatorX/Simobjects/Airplanes folder. That's it go fly have fun. Scoot now!!

I was already typing a response when I looked at the date 2/22/2016, and today's date 5/3/2021, that's I believe within reason a considerable timeframe considering......Damn.....I'm old, I was thinking of getting it and I already was.

Thanks for all of the wonderful articles downloads and insight, here's to the future of flight sim.

Just a NEWSBRIEF.  The department Of Defense stated earlier this year that they will be taking applications for non-commissioned Officers to begin training to pilot the A-10 Warthog! Nothing like being at the wrong age for such a fine job. I knew I'd make a career jump when my grandfather said"Son...Usually, it's the smart man that flies the aircraft" On that above older question, any panel can be moved from one aircraft to another to suit your personal needs and or wants.

Find a panel of your favorite and remove the panel or keep it and the new panel will automatically be renamed #2 when your key panels each panel should appear. I change out panels as I like radar and in some cases, weather tracking, lies a crop duster with updated avionics GPS, radar, Jordan I hope your still with us. Semper Fi!

I downloaded this on 2/22/16, but the virtual cockpit does not show up at all. I'm using FSX Steam Edition
