FSX Star Destroyer. The Star Destroyer was an important part of the arsenal of the Galactic Empire in the first three Star Wars movies. It is capable of carrying an enormous load of passengers or cargo. This model was created using Flight Simulator Design Studio with DTX3 reflective textures. Animations include the controls, control surfaces, and co-pilots. It contains a custom panel using all custom XML gauges that allow pilots to contact ATC, slew, pause, mute, and even steer the aircraft all from the panel (all of these can still be done in the regular way as well). It is an extremely fast aircraft, capable of reaching the maximum speed FSX will allow. And it can also cruise at extremely high altitudes and power up as high as several million feet. Includes an extremely unique interior model which shows not only the cockpit, but other parts of the ship such as the galley, the captain's office, the hangar bay and more. How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

    This is cool, but it took a long time to bring up the plane to fly it. I had to wait about a minute or two with fsx frozen for it to work.

    I WISH THAT THE CRAFT HAD MORE DETAIL ON THE OUTSIDE. I LIKE THE WAY THE ENGINES TILT IN THE DIRECTION YOU WANT AND THE AFTERBURNER IS GREAT. NICE JOB ON TRYING TO GIVE SOME DETAIL ON THE INSIDE AND IN GENERAL I ENJOYED SOMETHING NEW TO FLY. I WENT UP VERY HIGH AND THE EARTH LOOKED GREAT. I WOULD SPEND ABOUT $5 FOR THIS.

    Apart from the very poor texture, poor modeling and engines, the landing gear is equally tragic. The Star Destroyer is 1600m long. This model would be lucky to 1/10 that. I think a 5 is being generous. Sorry.

    Awsome Plane! There Are SO Many Cockpit Views. Shift F4 Is Afterburner. Little Plain, Needs Some Pizzaz, 10 For Me
