This is an AFCAD (or scenery, whatever you like) for Ameland Airport (EHAL), a small GA airfield at the island of Ameland, Holland. The AFCAD was made by Airport Design Editor (ADE). I tried to stay as close as possible to the reality, but only with default buildings. This addon is made for FSX and NOT for FS9 (not tested with FS9 either). I tested this addon in the default FSX (without any service packs installed), but I suppose it works in FSX SP1 too and maybe also in FSX SP2. If not, please let me know.
Installation:
- Place the two bgl-files in the FSX/Addon Scenery/Scenery folder and be sure the Addon Scenery folder is active in the File Library in FSX (which is at default).
Uninstall:
- Remove the two bgl-files from the FSX/Addon Scenery/Scenery folder.
One thing which is different from the real life, Ameland Airport does not have a Tower frequency in real but a 'Radio' frequency. However, I think the so called 'Traffic' frequencies in FSX are very, very, very far from reality, since there's no controller who talks to you. So I created a Tower frequency so that there's at least someone talking to you when you want to take-off or land.
