Zanzibar International Airport (HTZA/ZNZ) gets a refreshed AFCAD for FSX, tightening runway, taxiway, and parking layout to better match real-world operations on Unguja. Built with Airport Scenery Creator using default SP2/Acceleration objects, it improves AI flow and gate usage and requires the included HTZA.bgl and HTZA_cvx.BGL files.

About Zanzibar:

Zanzibar is part of the East African republic of Tanzania. It consists of the Zanzibar Archipelago in the Indian Ocean, 25-50 km (15-30 mi) off the coast of the mainland. There are numerous small islands and two large ones. Unguja (the main island, informally referred to as "Zanzibar"), and Pemba. Zanzibar was once a separate state with a long trading history within the Arab world; it united with Tanganyika to form Tanzania in 1964 and still enjoys a high degree of autonomy within the union. The capital of Zanzibar, located on the island of Unguja, is Zanzibar City, and its old quarter, known as Stone Town, is a World Heritage Site.

The FSX one was not convincing enough! I have tried to make it close to realistic as possible using Airport Scenery Creator v1.37 and the objects that are available for use from FSX SP2 - Acceleration. Hope this will make your stop-over more enjoyable!

Installation:

Drop the HTZA.bgl and HTZA_cvx.BGL into your FSX/Addon scenery/scenery folder,and away you go!

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D AFCAD file

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place AFCAD file

AFCAD files (AF2_*.bgl or AFX_*.bgl) go into FSX\Addon Scenery\Scenery\ or a dedicated AFCAD folder you create.

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
