FS2004 AFCAD2 File For LGAV V1

LGAV Athens Venizelos Airport gets accurate taxiways, gate layouts, and parking radii to keep AI traffic from wandering off-route in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. The AFCAD2 layout adds ample airline and GA stands, four cargo spots, and Schengen versus non-Schengen separation, and requires George Dorkofikis’ LGAV scenery.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004

Athens Venizelos Airport, Greece. Public Domain. By Felix Hippmann.

This file makes FS2004 use the correct taxiways and gates at the airport of Athens Venizelos, Greece (LGAV by George Dorkofikis). It keeps the AI Aircraft from taxiing cross country. It was created with AFCAD 2.04. It contains enough parkings for many large, small and medium and prop airliners and some general aviation parkings. Every parking position should be included. Schengen (intra EU except UK) and non-Schengen traffic will be kept separated. Make sure you use the correct atc_parking_codes= assignements in your aircraft.cfg and set your AI aircraft radius. If you don't do it, most things will work fine, but you won't have Schengen / non-Schengen / Charter traffic seperated. Four cargo parkings are available. All parking radiuses set according to George Dorkofikis informations that come with the scenery. Had to make a few compromises, but nothing serious.

It is mandatory to remove all previous versions prior to installation.

What you need:

  • Microsoft Flight Simulator 9 A Century Of Flight (THIS WON'T WORK WITH FS2002 OR AFCAD1!)
  • The freeware scenery for LGAV by George Dorkofikis. It was made for FS2002 but works as well in FS2004.
  • You don't need AFCAD 2.
