X-Plane 11/10 SSG AI 747-8i Pack 1.0

SSG’s AI Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental pack fills airports with convincing heavy passenger traffic in X-Plane 10, tuned for smooth frame rates using Plane Maker geometry without extra 3D objects. It includes day and night textures plus four liveries, from Boeing Sunrise and Lufthansa to a clean white option.

Following the recent release of the AI pack of 747-8F models, here is the Supercritical Simulations Group (SSG)'s AI versions of the 747-8 Intercontinental passenger version.

NOTE: These aircraft are only for XP10.

Thanks to Morten's kind guidance and suggestions, we were able to create framerate friendly versions of the aircraft.

These aircraft were made only using Plane Maker with no 3D objects, but they look good enough for the purposes of AI traffic.

Day and night textures are included, for the following repaints:

- Boeing "Sunrise" (factory)
- Lufthansa
- Cathay Pacific (fictional)
- White (no markings)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Simply unzip these aircraft into whichever folder you use for AI aircraft. Then select them in the "Aircraft" menu under X-Plane 10's "Aircraft/Situations". Click on the tab for "Other Aircraft" and add these to your traffic list. You should be able to load 10 to 12 of these with no problems.

Please see the credits of the original aircraft, which are the same for these AI versions.

How to install this mod

X-Plane add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place per readme

    X-Plane add-ons go into Aircraft/ (planes), Custom Scenery/ (airports, mesh), or Resources/plugins/ (plugins).

  3. Restart X-Plane

    Close X-Plane completely and relaunch. The new content loads automatically.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
