3/08-Updated(pretty much all I did was open it, and save it...) to 10.04rc1, purely out of the fact that some couldn't open it.

The A-40 was a assault glider, with a tank. Only one was built for testing and according to what little information I found on it's only test flight, the T-60 tank it held created so much drag the TB-3 bomber towing it had to let it go lest it be crashed. However, it was reported that it glided smoothly. No more were built because of a lack of capable towing aircraft, either the Pe-8 or the TB-3.

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place per readme

Restart X-Plane

Close X-Plane completely and relaunch. The new content loads automatically.
