This freeware package features a meticulous rendition of the Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 adapted for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. Developed by Camil Valiquette and assembled with a panel by A. Asensio, it incorporates refined design elements that bring the visual appeal and core functions into the simulator environment. Across its double-deck configuration, this A380 model captures many operational nuances while remaining user-friendly and true to Singapore Airlines' distinctive livery.
Technical Adjustments for FS2004
The team led by Camil Valiquette fine-tuned the MDL (Model) file to ensure compatibility within FS2004. Nearly all animations are retained, including reverse thrust sequences and static engine fan blades. Because of simulator limitations, engine fan rotation has been removed, but other movements should function reliably in normal flight and taxi situations.
Installation Notes (Unpacking and Placement)
- Extract the zip file contents into your “Aircraft” directory within Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. For best results, confirm the folder structure matches the typical layout used by the simulator.
Important First-Run Message
When you first load the aircraft, the simulator may prompt a notice indicating “Aircraft not fully compatible.” Choose “NO” to preserve the landing gear and other visual features. If “YES” is inadvertently chosen, the landing gear may disappear; however, reinstallation or reloading can correct this issue.
Recommended Spot View Settings
For the most accurate sense of scale, set your Spot View distance to 666 ft. By default, some simulators present the view at roughly 210 ft, which is closer than optimal for this large aircraft.

Usage and Distribution
This Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 is intended solely for the private enjoyment of flight simulation enthusiasts. It is freeware and must not be altered or sold for profit in any circumstance. Modifications to its contents are prohibited without explicit permission from the original authors.
Because the Airbus A380 remains one of the world’s largest passenger aircraft, this model is designed to reflect that scale in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. In particular, the extensive wingspan, distinctive upper deck, and unique engine layout have been preserved. Enjoy the immersive experience provided by this classic Singapore Airlines livery, whether performing long-haul flights or exploring shorter segments within your virtual hangar.
