This repaint provides a fresh, “clean” Jetsgo Fokker 100 texture set, specifically crafted for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. Created by Shane Strong, it features the distinctive Jetsgo livery worn by C-GKZA, a real-world Canadian budget carrier aircraft. To install, you will need the Project Fokker F100 freeware base model (locatable in the Fly Away Simulation mod library). Once applied, the airframe’s Rolls-Royce Tay 650-15 engines are visually represented in alignment with genuine Fokker 100 specs.

Key Technical Highlights

  • Livery Developer: Shane Strong
  • Base Aircraft: Project Fokker F100 (Fokker 100 model by the Project Fokker team)
  • Simulator Compatibility: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004
  • Engine Depiction: Tay 650-15 (twin-jet configuration for improved performance)
  • Airline Markings: Jetsgo branding, matching real-world Canadian low-fare operations

Livery Details and Background

This repaint focuses on bringing the Jetsgo theme to life with accurate color schemes and registration details. The Fokker 100 itself is notable for its medium-range capabilities and fuel efficiency, an aircraft series debuted by Fokker in the late 1980s. The textured surfaces convey a polished, “clean” finish to replicate an aircraft in pristine condition. Operators such as Jetsgo leveraged the F100’s relatively low operating costs and seating capacity tailored for short- to medium-haul routes.

Installation Procedure

  1. Extract the entire downloaded archive into your FS2004\aircraft\PF Fokker-100 Tay-650 folder.
  2. Open your aircraft.cfg file in a text editor, then insert the subsequent block of code, ensuring you adjust fltsim.xx to the next available entry in sequence:

[fltsim.xx]

If your previous fltsim entry ended at fltsim.9, then set this new section to fltsim.10. This ensures the simulator reads the repaint correctly. The freeware model required for these textures can be obtained from the Fly Away Simulation mod library (it is not supplied with this package).
