Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

Original views reworked and additional views (defined by camera definitions in the aircraft.cfg file) for the Boeing F/A-18A Hornet by Microsoft available only in the Acceleration expansion pack. Eight cameras pointing at the aircraft and a total of three views in the 3D cockpit. By Marc Renaud.

Instructions:

Make sure FSX is not running.
Make a copy of your aircraft.cfg file.
Open the aircraft.cfg file.
DELETE the existing camera definitions.
Open the camera definitions.txt file provided by me.
Select and copy all the camera definitions.
Paste the new camera definitions into the aircraft.cfg file. ( I suggest the bottom of the file ).
Save the aircraft.cfg file.
Start FSX, select the F-18A Hornet in your favorite "colors". Spool up them engines and release the brakes!

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place files per the readme

Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
