Editorial

I always like to pick up new flight missions with FSX and with other simulators, especially flights that are quite close to where I live. Therefore, being able to take on the Gatwick to Dublin flight was something I was really quite excited by; I figured that the best thing I could do, then, was to take on the flight in the right manner by taking it through a mission!

This mission itself is obviously quite quick as it’s not the longest flight in the world, but it’s fairly enjoyable and easy to follow along with as well as making sure that you can stay on track easily enough. The mission instructions are incredibly detailed and the overall presentation is very impressive, so I was happy to take this mission a few times. Everything went to plan on each occasion as the flight protocols are relatively standard, but the flight itself is an enjoyable and scenic route.

If you have trouble in coming up with somewhere to fly to and under specific conditions, then this mission – and others like it – can be a good source of entertainment and experience. It can be a really good route to go down in terms of getting used to specific flight conditions, as well, so if you are looking for a fun and engaging flight to take on you’ll enjoy this package – it’s easy to use, simple to follow and quite enjoyable to run when you are just looking for a calming and enjoyable flight.

When I try to run this mission it says, "the flight you are trying to open is missing an associated flight plan file. The flight will be loaded without a flight plan." Any ideas please?
