For a popular passenger and cargo airliner such as White Eagle, Yak-40 was certainly an invaluable addition to its expanded fleet. The Poland-based airline, which began its operations in 1993, had met with reasonable, if not roaring, success through its Yak-40s, with the civil jet aircraft going on to add the proverbial feather in its cap.
For the proud owners of Katarzyna Frank-Niemczycka and Zbigniew Niemczycki, the small-made three-engined airliner - with a large T-tail and a retractable tricycle landing gear - meant a lot to maintain scheduled passenger services in a host of domestic destinations. There is not an iota of doubt that the pleasing color and looks of this civil aircraft will impress you in the first sight.
