This pack contains updates, a few new airports and improvements for the previous airports package covering Namibia (NAMIBIA_AIRPORTS.ZIP). It also contains other details, such as various radio masts across the country and representative details at the following mines: Uis, Skorpion, Tsumeb, and Arandis. All were designed with ADE X v1.5, and tested in FSX SP2. There is also a set of landclass updates, which provide some local tweaks to Aeroworx's Southern Africa landclass. By David Atkinson.

See my base pack (namibia_airports.zip) for the libraries and accessories that are recommended for the best level of detail.

These airports were designed from satellite images, which are accurate, but not always totally up to date. As a result, some airfields may have features representative of their state a few years ago. As in real life, some of them blend into the landscape very well, so you may have to use GPS to help you find them!

Instructions:

Unzip the folder onto your desktop.

Firstly, navigate into the unzipped folder until you get to Addon Scenery. Copy all of these airport files into the Addon Scenery folder of your own FS setup. Overwrite the previous versions when prompted.

Secondly, go into the folder Scenery > World > Scenery and copy all the files to that same folder in your FSX setup. This provides altitude information for FSX when rendering the airports. Again, overwrite the previous versions when prompted.
