FSX Luderitz Airport Namibia Scenery

Lüderitz Airport (FYLZ) brings Namibia’s coastal gateway to life in FSX with custom-designed hangars blended with default scenery libraries for a seamless look and solid performance. Ideal for short hops from Windhoek, the Runway 04 approach highlights nearby Kolmanskop, the famed ghost town slowly swallowed by the Namib Desert dunes.

Luderitz Airport Namibia (FYLZ). This cenery is made from custom designed hangars and default FSX scenery libraries. Luderitz is situated in Namibia, and ideal for hops from Windhoek. On approach at runway 4 you can see Kolmanskop on the left. This is a ghost town consumed by the dunes of the Namib desert. By Jacques Botha.

Instructions :

1.Unzip "Luderitz.zip" to a temp folder.

2.Copy the "Luderitz" folder to your FSX/scenery folder.

3.Run FSX.

4.On the main page go to "settings".

5.Now click on "scenery library".

6.Now click on "Add area" and search for the scenery folder.

7.Double click on the scenery folder and look for the"Luderitz" folder.

7.NB !!!!!! click on this folder only once ! and then click on "OK".

8.The scenery will now load !

9.Go to free flight and choose "FYLZ" to start your flight !

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
