Southend based Tradair was another British independent that sprang up in the latter part of the 1950's and lasted for only a few years. G-APOO was one of three ex Kings/Queens flight aircraft to join a fleet of Vickers Vikings built up from other sources. Given the fleet name "Mercier" it was with Tradair from August 1958 and served until the company failed at the end of 1962. When Tradair failed, Channel took over the operations and the whole fleet, given them a large increase in their Viking stock and also their first Viscount. This aircraft officially joined Channel in March 1963 and flew with them for two seasons until it was withdrawn in August 1964 and broken up the following year. Requires the FSDS Viking model by Rick Piper. Repaint by Garry Russell.
