Installation in FS2004:
First, make sure the Avro York Base Package is installed on your system.
Find the Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Aircraft\Avro_York folder on your system and place the texture folder (texture.gantk_02) there. Additionally, copy the folder model.moyd if it is not already present from some earlier download (see NOTAM below).
Use a text editor such as Notepad to add the following section to your Avro York aircraft.cfg file following the "fltsim" sections already present and replace the xx by the next number in sequence:

description = Avro 685 York C1 G-ANTK shown here in 1960s Dan-Air livery. Built at Yeadon in January 1946, entered RAF service with No. 242 Squadron RAF as MW232 that August. Joined fleet of Allied aircraft engaged in the Berlin Airlift and in May 1947 moved to 511 Squadron at Lyneham. Served until May 1950 when used by Fairey Aviation for flight refuelling research. Retired to 12 Maintenance Unit at Kirkbridge for storage prior to disposal. Became in July 1954 G-ANTK with Dan-Air and was used for freight work until its retirement in May 1964. Ferried to Lasham and used as a bunk house by the local Air Scouts until 1974. In May 1986 dismantled and on 23 May moved to Duxford for undergoing a prolonged restoration. G-ANTK is now part of the exhibition at Duxford's Hangar 2. \n\nGmax exterior model and paintkit by Manfred Jahn, FDE by Paul Edwards, repainted in Dan-Air colors by Hans Hermann, Virtual Birds Factory, March 2007.
