BOAC Avro 685 York C1 G-AGJA

BOAC’s Avro 685 York C1 G-AGNV brings a lovingly recreated postwar Speedbird transport to FS2004, pairing a detailed Gmax exterior with accurate flight dynamics, period markings, and matching night textures. The livery depicts “Morville/Middlesex” with rich historical context, and requires the Avro York base package plus the model.moyd variant.
Avro York c/n 1223 G-AGNV, military serial TS798, was never taken up by the RAF. Delivered directly to BOAC on December 9, 1945, and named "Morville" (later renamed "Middlesex"); sold to Skyways on March 30, 1955. In May 1964 withdrawn from use and stored at Luton, Bedfordshire. On October 8, 1964 flown to Staverton Airport and donated to the Skyfame Museum, preserved in the colors of the famous York LV633 "Ascalon", the personal transport of Prime Minister Winston Churchill. Later moved to RAF Brize Norton and Shawbury until it found its final resting place in RAF Museum Cosford where it is part of the current "Cold War" exhibition. Gmax exterior model and paintkit by Manfred Jahn, FDE by Paul Edwards, repainted by Hans Hermann, Virtual Birds Factory.

NOTAM:
Unlike some other Avro York repaints this package uses an advanced model file of Manfred Jahn created for a better texturing of the nose cone area. So for these textures to work the folder model.moyd (included in this package) must be present. This package also comes with suitable nightlight textures.
