FS2004 BOAC Avro 685 York C1 G-AGNV

BOAC’s Avro 685 York C1 G-AGNV brings a lovingly recreated postwar Speedbird transport to FS2004, pairing a detailed Gmax exterior with accurate flight dynamics, period markings, and matching night textures. The livery depicts “Morville/Middlesex” with rich historical context, and requires the Avro York base package plus the model.moyd variant.

Installation in FS2004:

  • First, make sure the Avro York Base Package is installed on your system.
  • Find the Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Aircraft\Avro_York folder on your system and place the texture folder (texture.gagnv_01) there. Additionally, copy the folder model.moyd if it is not already present from some earlier download (see NOTAM below).
  • Use a text editor such as Notepad to add the following section to your Avro York aircraft.cfg file following the "fltsim" sections already present and replace the xx by the next number in sequence:

NOTAM:

Unlike some other Avro York repaints this package uses an advanced model file of Manfred Jahn created for a better texturing of the nose cone area. So for these textures to work the folder model.moyd (included in this package) must be present. This package also comes with suitable nightlight textures.
