FSX Piper Cherokee VH-UZR

Piper Cherokee VH-UZR brings an Australian-registered look to the Carenado Cherokee with crisp exterior markings and matching details for the virtual cockpit in FSX. The repaint includes optional clear interior windows for a cleaner cabin view and requires the payware Carenado Piper Cherokee to use these textures.

Install:

  • Inside each folder is a texture folder and aircraft.cfg file.
  • The texture folders go into FSX Carenado Cherokee main folder.
  • Add both of my aircraft.cfg text to your Cherokee aircraft.cfg (change the XX to next available #).

If you want CLEAR windows sitting inside (Interior), remove this file from your folders:

  • Carenado Cherokee Windows.bmp

Removing that file will not affect your outside windows.

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
