Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, Michigan (MI). By V.F. Holderness.
New file in the zip, v43. Don't forget to take out/delete the old file. I forgot to do that on one occasion and wondered why nothing had changed.
Fedex parking entered and coded. Not sure what types they operate at KDTW but have included 2 small gates, 2 GA large and 1 GA medium. A ramp cargo has been added in the adjacent area, it may be outside the Fedex area, but was included as they do use heavies.
Same with UPS, but the area is smaller so they do not get as much as Fedex!
I only have two Fedex aircraft and one UPS, they went to the right place.
You may have to modify your aircraft.cfg files to make them go there depending on how your system is set up. This can be done by going to the "Tools" menu in AFCAD, select Aircraft editor, click on your aircraft type, and make sure that the parking code is there. if not, add it. This will automatically change your aircraft.cfg file. It adds a line
atc_parking_codes=FDX or any of the other parameters you may have chosen. You can amend the cfg file by hand of course.
Other minor improvements have been made on taxiways, and general aviation parking has been expanded slightly.
