Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

The FFX-SGA DC10-30 in thirteen repaints, adapted for FSX AI traffic with U.S. flight plans. In FSX, texture.cfg file allows for gear, wings, etc. in a common texture file, permitting fuselage repaints with higher definition used as AI. Minimal frame rate impact. Also flyable. By Jim Waters.

Installation:

  • Just put in each of the texture folders in your FSX / Simobjects / Airplanes /SGA_DC-10 FOLDER
  • Then copy the aircraft.cfg and over write the one you have. It is modified to use 4 eng instead of 3 because the sga_dc-10pk will not work online the way it is se up currently. The modification I made to the aircraft has the middle engine sharing power between throttle 2 and 4 for the thrust. This way if other players don't have this SGA_DC10 file you will default as a b747-400 in FSX session online. The way it is configured now it will allow you to join a session online but no one can see you, so this modification fixes that so you can show up on radar in an ATC session online.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

    The wings and the fans on the airplane show just plain black, the rest of the aircraft is fine, I'm I missing something? All the aircraft that I download show perfect, it's only this pack that do that. I'm running FSX on Windows 10
