Installation:

  • Place the 'texture.USN_VXN-8_Arctic Fox' folder in your KBT P-3 v3 folder.
  • Add the below fltsim section to the 'Aircraft.cfg' file, renumbering the 'fltsim.xx' to the next sequential number in your file.

description=This RP-3A is one of the P-3 project aircraft comprising the US Navy's VXN-8 Squadron operating for the US Naval Oceanographic Office from the 1960s to the early 1990s. 'Arctic Fox' BuNo 150500 was delivered to the USN in November of 1962 and was retired to AMARC after long service. After being stripped of usefull, parts it was scrapped and melted down by TBZ Metals in Macon, AZ. It was replaced at VXN-8 by a newer NP-3D BuNo 154587 which served as 'Arctic Fox' until VXN-8 was disestablished.

Where is the photo of the first Project Birdseye aircraft: USN VW-13, EC-121K/P, BuNo. 141325 --May 9-28, 1962? NAS Quonset Pt., RI --Thule AB, Greenland, Eielson AFB, AK (w/stops at Yellowknife Apt., NWT, Canada). --Pete
