FSX VXN-8 Project Seascan P-3

A texture set for the KBT P3 v3. The second of three texture sets of the Lockheed P-3 Orion aircraft operated by VXN-8. This paint represents RP-3D, BuNo 149667, "El Coyote" (Wyle E. Coyote) of Project Seascan for the US Naval Oceanographic Office. The textures are in .dds format for FSX. By Joe Bowers.

Installation:

• Place the 'texture.USN_VXN-8_El Coyote' folder in your KBT P-3 v3 folder.
• Add the below fltsim section to the 'Aircraft.cfg' file, renumbering the 'fltsim.xx' to the next sequential number in your file.

description=This RP-3A is one of the P-3 project aircraft comprising the US Navy's VXN-8 Squadron operating for the US Naval Oceanographic Office from the 1960s to the early 1990s. "El Coyote" BuNo 149667 was delivered to the USN in April of 1962 and was retired after 1969 at NAS Jacksonville. After being stripped of usefull, parts it was used by the base fire brigade for training purposes and burnt up. It was replaced at VXN-8 by a newer NP-3D BuNo 153443 which was also named "El Coyote".
