A repaint for the payware Just Flight de Havilland D.H.104 Dove/Devon. JY-RJU is, or was at least, a Dove 7 flown by the Royal Jordanian Air Force. After active service, it was transferred to the Royal Jordanian Air Force Historic Flight under which it visited airshows and photocalls in the U.K. during 1993-94-95. Piloted by King Hussein himself at times. Few references can be found and they show small changes on the livery. This repaint represents a moment in which the aircraft still wears the roundel but the coat of arms and registration have already been painted on it. Repaint by Inigo Izaguirre.

Just curious if there is a record of which construction number this one is? there were two that served together and although their numbers were not consecutive they were only a couple of numbers apart, they left the factory together, served with iraqi air for a while, then jordanian air, then into the jordanian air force into the royal wing, from there they returned to england for a time then came out here to australia where they served with a number of airlines in the top end including time with the royal flying doctor service. one, ended its days with penguin air, the other with mcalpine air services. they will both be on display at our museum, the ballarat aviation museum, although unfortunately one was cut up but the first thrid of the aircraft remains. we will be restoring both so people can visit them and read their history and hopefully appreciate these great little aircraft
