In my decades of working with PC flight simulators, I’ve found the attention to detail remarkable—from accurately placed landmarks to the newly designed terminal that accommodates aircraft such as the Boeing 737, Airbus A320 family, and the Embraer E-Jet series. The inclusion of official PDF charts, ongoing airport expansions, and the developer’s commitment to realism make this add-on a standout choice for those seeking a vibrant gateway in southern Brazil.

This is an X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 10 scenery package Adalberto Mendes da Silva Airport (IATA: CAC, ICAO: SBCA), which is the airport serving Cascavel, PR, in Brazil. It is operated by CETTRANS, the semi-independent Transportation Authority of Cascavel, indirectly related to the Municipality of Cascavel, and under the supervision of Aeroportos do Parana (SEIL).

The airport was inaugurated on November 12, 1977. Since 29 January 2013, the airport is operating with a 1.780m x 45m runway. The enlargement from its previous 1.615m x 30m to the present size was necessary due to the constant increase in the airport's traffic. Ongoing projects at the airport are the installation of the Precision approach path indicator as well as a new improved fire station, which will raise the safety category to CAT 5. A new passenger terminal with 2.500m is under construction. This development will enable Cascavel Airport to operate aircraft such as Boeing 737, Airbus A320 family and Embraer E-Jet family. Current commercial airlines and destinations include:
- Azul Brazilian Airlines from/to => Campinas/SBKP, Curitiba/SBCT
- Passaredo Airlines from/to => Sao Paulo-Guarulhos/SBGR

This scenery was tested and is operational (as of June 07, 2017) in "X-Plane 11.02b2 64 bit", Windows 10 Home. It was also tested and is also operational (as of June 07, 2017) in "X-Plane 10.51 64 bit", Windows 10 Home.

A set of PDF charts (updated as of March 2017) are provided for SBCA/CAC airport. They are official and free of charge, provided by the Brazilian aeronautical authority. You can find them in the folder "SBCA Charts", in this package. These charts are constantly updated by the Brazilian aeronautical authority. X-Plane 11 Installation:

Two folders are provided. You only need the one marked XP11. Copy and paste the folder "BR PR SBCA - Cascavel Airport XP11 v1.0.0", and all their content, inside your "\X-Plane 11\Custom Scenery\" folder, as usual in the X-Plane world. Do not copy the folder marked XP10.


X-Plane 10 Installation:

Two folders are provided. You only need the one marked XP10. Copy and paste the folder "BR PR SBCA - Cascavel Airport XP10 v1.0.0", and all their content, inside your "\X-Plane 10\Custom Scenery\" folder, as usual in the X-Plane world. Do not copy the folder marked XP11.


Additional scenery libraries needed:

Only the default X-Plane 11 libraries, by Laminar Research, are needed. No third party libraries are used.
