Editorial
This brilliant remake of the Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcon, or the Viper, was something that I simply could not wait to get installed. It looks smart, it handles extremely well and it can give you the detail and the style that you need to truly understand the real power and presence of a military vehicle. This package is built upon Kirk Olsson’s VIPERDEN F-16, and has been modified and improved to give it even more features and additions to really stand out and look the part. It comes with a huge range of gauges included inside it so that it can be used easily with FSX, keeping it in line with all of the most important factors easily.
Also, you’ll have a completely working flight deck and a virtual cockpit that look great and have totally functional options being included – what more could you need from an aircraft model like this? Now, you can easily fly around with the total control of the F-16 at your fingertips. Since it gives you absolute control via the gauges and the panels, the 2D designs are great by the way, you’ll have no trouble at all controlling your F-16 and having absolute command over whatever it is that you intend to do.
With the package that has been added in here you will get a much more impressive model than previously, with detailed textures and updates included to make sure that it has every little detail possible included. This makes it a lot easier in general to just put it all together and understand what the purpose of the aircraft is. It’s so fast and furious that I will admit I struggled briefly to get it going and to have it working in the format that I needed; I was more used to something tamer!
That being said I soon got into the spirit of things and enjoyed the rate that I was able to burst along the skies without any challenge incredibly impressive. If there is one thing that I loved about this aircraft, though, it was the incredibly pace at which it could make turns and go into really challenging pieces of terrain and come out unscathed. Its speed mixed with its response and agility make it very easy to understand why this is a military-grade fighter. Faster than a tornado and a fair bit more powerful, this thing manages to really capture the true essence of this breed of aircraft!
I was a massive fan of the F-16 before using this but getting to try it out first-hand in the FSX environment has really given me an idea of just how much fun this can be put in the right hands. As far as the precision and detail goes with the aircraft, this package really does all it can to replicate the full feeling of the original. It’s uniquely powerful, insanely fast, massively detailed inside and has potential that goes far beyond where you may have previously expected.
As far as renditions of the Viper goes, few can come close to this – I massively recommend this!

hi there is no afterburner effect? how to put after burner? thanks
This is an easy aircraft to look at and flies beautifully. No wonder that kid in the movie could fly it!
I just found this file and it is a wonderful plane to fly. A quick question: is there a file or other list of possible items that are pilot useable/adjustable: ie missles, chutes, canopy, etc.
