FSX Hawker Hunter 738 NAS "Rough Diamonds"

Hawker Hunter 738 NAS "Rough Diamonds". Repaint pack for both Dave Garwood's FSX single-seat and two-seat Hawker Hunters in the colors of the Royal Navy's formation display team "Rough Diamonds". The Rough Diamonds were formed from 738 NAS at RNAS Brawdy in Pembrokeshire in the 1960s. They flew one GA11 with dayglo added to the nose, wingtips and spine (the leaders aircraft), a further two GA11 in standard 738 NAS finish and a T8 in standard Fleet Air Arm silver and dayglo. During the existance of the team three different GA11 were painted with dayglo as the leader's aircraft, but only one is depicted here. Each repaint also includes custom specular reflection textures (spec maps). Updated stencils were provided by Dave Quincey. By Andy Ford.

Installation: Folders

To install please move the following folder into your Flight Simulator X/SimObjects/Airplanes/Hunter T' folder:

texture.roughdiamond4

Also move the following three folders into your Flight Simulator X/SimObjects/Airplanes/Hunter FAA' folder:

texture.roughdiamond1
texture.roughdiamond2
texture.roughdiamond3

Installation: aircraft.cfg

You must then edit TWO aircraft.cfg

Insert the following section into Flight Simulator X/SimObjects/Airplanes/Hunter T/aircraft.cfg. Make sure you replace the XX in [fltsim.XX] with the next sequential number for your textures.
NOTE: If you are using the freeware utility "FormationSetup.exe" to fly formations you replace XX with a number 19 or less, but please remember to keep all numbers in sequence!
