FSX Lockheed Neptune Update

Lockheed Neptune Update. This is an update for FSX of the AI Lockheed Neptune by Jaap de Baare. The author has updated the panel so it would work in FSX. This update was done because Piet de Geus found and renamed a file so the props would not appear solid when running; so thank him for this update. This is the whole aircraft. No virtual cockpit. Unzip to a folder of your choice. Copy the aircraft folder to the FSX airplanes folder. Copy the gauges and effect to the main FS gauges and effects folders. No need to overwrite anything already there.

If you have not already done so, copy the .cab files from the default aircraft panel folders that have them, to the main FS gauges folder. For some the .cab files will be .zip files as .cab files are a type of .zip file.

NOTE: The engine numbers go 1 and 2 for the pistion engines and 3 and 4 for the jet engines. I believe this is because the original model was only intended to use the pistion engines. Another note: The engines are all piston engines according to the panel and the aircraft.cfg file. This is because there is no way to have both jets and pistion engines on a single aircraft within the simulator. The same goes for the sound, so if you shut down the piston engines it will still only give you piston engine sound from the jets.

The sound is aliased to the DC-3. Feel free to use any sounds you like.

For those who want smoke from the pistion engines, remove the // from in front of smoke 1 and 2. You can always put the // back so it is the way it started out.
