Besancon Package LFSA+LFQM. Scenery package for the two airfields of Besancon, France: LFSA Thise and LFQM la Veze. These are not photographic sceneries but use traditional scenery building using SbuilderX, FSX Planner and Scenery Shortcut. Besancon is located in the east part of the country, on the Doubs river, not far from the border between France and Switzerland. These two airfields are combining facilities for general aviation, ULM, gliders, helicopters and parachuting. By Dominique M. L. Donzelot.
Besancon Package.
Besançon, the a strong place in Franche- Comté,is situated in the East of France, in the Jura mountains area close to the boarder with Switzerland. This nice place has 2 airfield, one in the plain, Thise, combine facilities for gliders and ULMs as well as ... flying models and the other one, on the highlands, La Vèze, host a G.A. airfield, a parachutism school and a civil security center with helicopter. A good combination of air means.
Those places doe exist in FS but without or with in accurate infrastructures so I added them and tuned them to look more like in reality although only using build in object from FSX to avoid shooting down too much on the FPS.
Thanks to the authors of FSX planner, SbuilderX and SceneryShortcut (Abacus) for those superbes development tools.
If you already have downloaded and installed my photographic version of LFSA, you may want to uninstall it. If, in the other hand, you like photographic sceneries, you can just remove all LFSA .bgl from this new package. The choice is yours. I am not, myself, still convince about photographic scenery on a small scale like that as not integrating enough in the FSX landscape. But that's just me...
Its under my copyright, and should be only freely distributed and in any case never be part of a commercial package.
There is nothing there which could possibly damage your computer or your FS, so I am not taking any responsibility in any possible incident on your machines.
Standart kind of installation
- unzip the files and folders under your add-on sceney
- declare the scenery
That's it.
Unfortunatly, as far as I know, this scenery is not compatible with previous versions of FS.
Enjoy flying in that superb area !
