This is a repaint of the A2A Wings of Power II North American Aviation P-51 Mustang to represent Major George Preddy's first P-51D-5-NA 44-13321 'Cripes A'Mighty 3rd' as it would have looked in the summer of 1944. This aircraft was transferred to Capt. Marion Nutter as 'Sexshunate' in late 1944 and lost on 16th April 1945. By Dave Quincey.

This is a repaint of the A2A Wings of Power II P-51D to represent Major George Preddy's first P-51D-5-NA 44-13321 'Cripes A'Mighty 3rd'. There are some inaccuracies in this; firstly, when flown by Major Preddy, 44-13321 lacked the fin fillet added in later blocks and in the field to many Block -5 D's, although it was added by early 1945. Secondly I have had to use a piece of photo texture for the name on the cockpit rail, not being good enough of an artist to recreate it to any kind of standard. The latter is the reason I've chosen not to try to recreate Kermit Weeks' 45-11507. Nonetheless for a worn-looking wartime Mustang it looks fine.
Copy the 'texture.cripesamighty3' folder to your SimObjectsAirplanesWWII_FIGHTERS_P51D folder.
This texture set contains only the five external textures; all other textures can either be added from existing texture folders or you can put them into a 'texture.shared' folder. The 'texture.cfg' file within this texture folder is directed there; dump it if you don't use it.
Copy and paste the following into your aircraft.cfg file.
