Your probably asking what the he'll is phpVMS and why do I want to know what it is? Well if so let me break it down for you, phpvms is a content management system specifically designed for virtual airlines. It is an extremely helpful system and I wouldn't recommend any payware cms over it.
So what does it do?
Basically it is a PHP based system so there's no hassle editing everything manually like static websites everything is done through the admin panel. It will allow you to add a system of schedules, add your fleet, ranks and even daily expenses! The best part of it though is it's integration with FSacars and Xacars this allows your pilots to automaticlly track there flights and log a PIREP so all the hassle is gone, but for VATSIM and IVAO users there is still a manual pirep system. It's a CEO's dream trust me.
Is it hard to install?
No, not at all although a basic understanding of FTP and Sql is necessary there's nothing that isn't explained at the phpVMS website and if that's not enough for you the forum is always a hive of activity with people always willing to help out.
Is there a customization factor?
Yes there is is the simple answer although a knowledge of css and HTML is necessary there is a range of free ready made templates available on the phpvms website that you can make your own. There are also external addons for phpvms all of which can be found on the phpvms forums. These addons include a pilot of the month module all the way up to an exam center for your pilots. The fun doesn't stop there though because you aren't limited to other peoples addons you can make your own to if you a proficient enough in php and html.
Overall
I can't stress this cms anymore than I think it is amazing I would recommend this to anyone wanting to start a va and not want to waste their money on a paid service
