Flightsimmers interested in a virtual career as a commuter airline pilot will be interested in Commuter Xpress which is now available from Abacus. It includes several of the most popular commuter aircraft as well as an easy to use Flight Management Computer. For details, click on Read More.Today, most of the major airlines build their routes around a "hub and spoke system". Using this scheme, smaller commuter planes fly passengers from smaller towns to hub cities where they board larger planes for longer flights to distant cities.

The major airlines have teamed up with commuter airlines so as to use most economical aircraft on any given route routes to maximize profits. This has led to the popularity of the commuter airlines.

As a Commuter Xpress pilot you'll fly popular aircraft:

  • ATR-72
  • CRJ-700
  • BAE-146
  • Beech 1900D
  • Boeing 757

Included is an easy to use Flight Management Computer which will guide you to your destination with a lot of complex setup.

Commuter Xpress is available now on CD-ROM. Suggested retail price is $29.95.
