Available soon from Abacus for FS2002 and FS2004 is WWII Carrier Ops. Featuring a variety of U.S. WWII era carrier based aircraft, operations take place in the Pacific aboard the USS Enterprise and feature arrestor cables and weapons effects. For full details, click on Read More.

World War II was the defining event of sea combat. While thousands of miles separated the warring nations, it was carrier based aircraft that determined the success or failure of major campaigns.

WWII Carrier Ops puts you aboard the venerable USS Enterprise in the Pacific. When the siren screams, you'll rush up to the deck and strap yourself into any of these famous and legendary carrier based planes:

  • F4U Corsair
  • F4F-4 Wildcat
  • F6F-3 Hellcat
  • TBF-1 Avenger
  • SDB-3
  • Dauntless

You'll want to prepare yourself for the perilous missions. With new weapons effects and AI traffic, we put you in the thick of battle. If you're fortunate enough to make it back, you'll have to set her down on the wobbling deck of the USS Enterprise. You'll hope to catch the steel cable to save you from the "drink".

WWII Carrier Ops includes special weapons effects, AI traffic and arrestor cables designed exclusively for us.

WWII Carrier Ops is available now from Abacus on CD-ROM and will be available in retail stores late June. Suggested retail price is $29.95.
