The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-17F brings a classic post–Korean War fighter evolution to FSX with updated, simulator-compatible gauges for the 2D panel, a new basic virtual cockpit, and convincing smoke effects. Built on Kazunori Ito’s original model and refined for modern use, it delivers an authentic Cold War jet experience.

The MiG-17 was a refined version of the famous MiG-15 of the Korean War. The package features FSX compatible gauges for the 2D panel, a new basic VC and smoke effects. Original model by Kazunori Ito, updated for FSX by Michael Pook.

Installation:

Copy the Mig-17 folder into your FSX/ Simobjects/ aircraft folder.
Copy the gauges in the gauges folder into your main FSX gauges folder and the smoke effect into the respective folder in your main FSX effects directory.
That's it, your done.

FSX / P3D add-on

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place files per the readme

Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
