This is a Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker package for FSX. Have you ever wanted to fly the SU-27, but couldn’t find one for FSX? Now you CAN find a Su-27.This SU-27 model can perform the "cobra", a manueuver that allows the pilot to take a snap missile shot at an enemy fighter above or behind him. Pressing the "I" key activates the weapons system.

This package includes a Su-27 with a 2D panel. Sorry, no VC. No Russian jet collection is complete without a Su-27. Please note: This file is for FSX ONLY. It will not work in FS2004. Su-27 Flanker uploaded by Braden Peters.

If you don't like things like sound, cockpit, panel, etc., You can change them. What I do is I know what cockpits and panels and variations I like and am familiar with, this is beneficial for night flights, I like radar and weather and modern GPS so I use the panels from the ones I like.

If I don't like the sounds I change them out. As long as your doing this for personal use only and non-public exhibition it's not a crime. It's your simworld, it's your choice, and don't forget to place HIGHMEMFIX=1 ON THE FIRST LINE UNDER YOUR [GRAPHICS] HEADING IN FSX CFG. If it won't let you save, do a right-click go to advanced and edit User and upgrade to all checkmarks ok then do the red square at top right click save and it'll go thru. That memfix will correct ram and crash issues. If you want any more tips and tricks I've got 14 years of options for FSX.

In the pictures, it shows different liveries like the Chinese air force, US Navy, Russian Air force, etc but in FSX I can only see the Russian air force's colors. Why? Also, can you add Indian air force color as well? other than that, it's great!

I have to agree with the no virtual cockpit issue. The seat position in 2d makes it almost impossible to see infront of the plane. Its as if i'm staring into the sky.

I followed instructions copying files to appropriate folders and upon running FSX I only get a 2D panel. There is no 3D panel for the Flanker. And in the 2D panel there is only a forward view. What have I left out?

The model is absolutely great, the only missing fact are the afterburner flames effect, or perhaps I have a problem in the installation.
