FSX MiG-35 Update

MiG-35 prototype update sharpens handling with revised flight dynamics, adds a functional 2D panel, and enriches the basic virtual cockpit with extra gauges, plus smoke and afterburner effects for more convincing jet operations in FSX. Requires the original MIG_MFI.ZIP aircraft package to apply the updated configuration and files.

MiG-35 Update. This is an update of the MiG-35 prototype by Tuomas Narvainen. The author has updated the flight dynamics, given it a 2D panel, added gauges to the basic virtual cockpit, added smoke effects and afterburner effects. You need the original aircraft (MIG_MFI.ZIP) for this to work because Tuomas did not want any updates to include the whole aircraft. By Bob Chicilo.

This update was done at the request of Varun Krishna.

unzip to a folder of your choice. Rename the panel in the aircraft, then copy the panel in this update to the aircraft. Copy the air, and aircraft.cfg files in this update to the aircraft folder. Copy the Mikoyan-1.44.jpg to the aircraft folder.

If you have not already done so, copy the .cab files from the default aircraft panel folders that have them to the main FS gauges folder. For some the .cab flies will be .zip files, as .cab files are a type of zip file.

See [reference speeds] section of the aircraft.cfg file for operating speeds.

The wheels seeming to roll backwards is in the model file where I cannot fix it.

The spoiler works, but I did not see any part of the aircraft that moved when it is engaged.

Anyone: You have my permission to use any of my updates with the following conditions: One, you don't try to make money with them. Two, you don't try to hurt, or take something from anyone by using them.

Bob Chicilo.

Requires dependencies

This add-on may require the following files to function properly. If this is a repaint, the dependency below is likely the base aircraft package.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place files per the readme

Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
  3. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

This is no Mig 35, it is a Mig 1.44. The real Mig 35 is an upgraded and actualized version of a Mig-29
