An Aero Commander AC500 model for FSX and FSX: Steam Edition.

AC500 commander on ramp.Package includes 1 model, custom panels and era gauges, custom sounds, custom Flight Model, and 3 liveries.

Compatible with all the original repaints.

Simple installation; lots of Aero Commander fun :-)

Installation

  1. Since your FSX/P3D/Steam setup may be different than mine, place the enclosed ac500fsx aircraft container folder in your airplanes folder.
  2. There are two effects in this package that go in your effects folder.
  3. This package uses custom gauges that are maintained in the ac500fsx/panel folder.

This FSX Native flight sim aircraft is designed by Milton Shupe, panel by Scott Thomas and textures by Andre Folkers. There are other copyright files by other authors denoted in their respective readme's.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
