Installation:

Unzip the file to a temporary location. Open the folder up. Inside you will see (5) texture folders,(5) thumbnail6-10, and an aircraftCFG file. PLEASE LISTEN UP..!!

Plain and simple you can copy and paste "or" you can modify this file to your needs.

I changed the "ui_manufacturer="Carenado"[ TO ] ui_manufacturer=Rockwell. I did this, so that when I go to look in my hanger, I see the aircraft manufacuter(s).

I did not however change the following:ui_createdby="Carenado". Note, ui_variation= whatever texture it is.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D Repaint for Payware Model

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Add livery to base aircraft folder

    Place the texture folder (typically texture.{airline}) inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\{base-aircraft}\.

  3. Update aircraft.cfg

    Open the base aircraft.cfg in Notepad. Add a new [fltsim.X] section per the readme.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
