This repaint brings a playful holiday-themed twist to the BAe 146-100 series while maintaining realistic texturing and operational fidelity. Created by Jason Harnois (Vermont Aircraft) for use with the freeware Premier Aircraft Design model, this add-on delivers a cheerful livery specifically designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator X enthusiasts. The base aircraft package must be obtained from the Fly Away Simulation library.

The BAe 146-100 is a regional jet engineered by British Aerospace (subsequently part of BAE Systems) in the United Kingdom. It is known for its high-wing design, T-tail structure, and four turbofan engines fitting snugly beneath the wings. These low-noise engines encourage operations near residential urban airports, which has earned the aircraft the “Whisperjet” nickname. The 146 family includes multiple variants (-100, -200, -300), and later derivatives, known as Avro RJ, underscore improvements in efficiency. This aircraft excels in short-haul markets where steep approaches or short runways demand specialized performance. Airlines across Europe, such as Brussels Airlines and Swiss International Air Lines, have relied on the model for commuter and freight roles.

This download contains just the texture files for customizing the existing freeware model. The base package by Premier Aircraft Design (also available in the Fly Away Simulation mod library) is required to ensure proper functionality.
