Read the: README Pilots NOTES AND HISTORY included it will explain the features of the 848 series
The 787 is a totally new aircraft, the first totally new plane from Boeing since 1969.
Mostly plastic, sorry Carbon Fiber Composite, parts all over the place.
The 848 is quieter, cleaner, and more comfortable. With no engines to support the wings, they are thinner lighter weight and stronger wings without bracing necessary to carry engine weight. Also these are dry wings and do not carry fuel in them, making them even lighter and thinner.
Meanwhile AirBus Industries has captured the world size record with the AirBus 380.
Nice plane, really big, no REALLY BIG, good fuel economy, lots of seats, good range.
Expect China to produce large commercial aircraft by 2035.
