This freeware package recreates the Aerolíneas Argentinas Airbus A340-211 in an older color scheme, reflecting the national carrier of Argentina. It provides a wing-view-only model with meticulously painted exterior details. This release is built on the Project Open Sky A340-200 v1 Gmax platform, with custom visual elements and arrangements carefully crafted by its creators. Painted by Marcelo Allende, it aligns closely with real-world references, ensuring accurate markings, realistic dirt, and carefully tuned reflections.
Aircraft Background
Aerolíneas Argentinas, headquartered in Buenos Aires, is recognized across the region for its distinctive tail design and fleet of long-haul airliners. The Airbus A340-211 (a four-engine, wide-body aircraft) once served on international routes. This simulation focuses on the carrier's older livery, capturing weathered effects derived from photos of the genuine airframe.

Rendering and Visuals
All external decals follow actual references, ensuring correct logos on wings and engines. Hand-drawn sections merge with photorealistic pieces, including doors and 3D-like engine fans. The reflection profile varies by material, and the DXT3 format reduces file size while preserving smooth day/night transitions. Wing surfaces and fuselage lines incorporate subtle aging nuances.
