This is a remake of a previously uploaded Cessna T37 Dragonfly as a new full package (aircraft and panel) for FSX. This new model features reflective metallic skin, detailed moving parts, such as all flight controls, steerable nose wheel, spinning wheels, animated canopy, rotating pilots head and so on. Two easily repaintable liveries are provided: camo and metal. Two models are provided, one clean and one armed for ground attack. The near photographic panel has been created from scratch, many gauges were expressly programmed by the authors. Included in this model there is a virtual cockpit, with working essential gauges and animated flight controls. By Giovanni Quai.

IMPORTANT! You MUST insert the included 'GougeSound.dll' in the Main FSX folder, or you will experience a FS crash! Simmers running 64 bit processors might encounter some problems...(textures not shown) if so try this:

Start the simulator... click\ settings \ graphics\ than remove the check in the ''Preview directX 10'' box... if present. This model requires good graphic cards... simmers running old graphic cards might experience a slow simulation speed, (small frames/sec numbers).

FOREWORD:

This new model has been created by myself : it features reflective metallic skin, detailed moving parts, such as all flight controls, steerable nose wheel, spinning wheels, animated canopy, rotating pilot's head and so on. Two easily repaintable liveries are provided: Camo and Metal. Two models are provided, one clean and one armed for ground attack. The near photographic panel has been created from scratch, including the most part of the gauges expressly programmed by the authors. Included in this model there is a Virtual Cockpit, with working essential gauges and animated flight controls.

NOTE:

Some buttons and switches in the panel are just there for realism, but they don't work. The Bendix Autopilot is available with navigation and autoland capability. The FSX basic B737 Autopilot, with full capabilities, is added ... just push keys ''shift+5'' to pop it up. Many intruments are modified FSX basic instruments and a couple are from unknown authors. Eight instruments are ''.gau'' instruments made by I. D'Attomo and myself; they require to be accepted (see notes 1 and 2).

INSTALLATION:

Please DO NOT use installers.

Unzip this file into your Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\airplanes folder and you will find a "CESSNA_T-37_4FSX'' folder with the usual subfolders, including a 'GougeSound.dll', then only ONE operation is required:

Copy the enclosed 'GougeSound.dll' file then Paste it in your main Flight Simulator X folder (if you don't have it yet). Nothing else is required for installation procedure other than accept the .gau instruments... (read NOTES 1 and 2 at the bottom of this page).

Happy landings!
